The Art of Manifesting
Growing up, I didn’t know anything about manifesting. It wasn’t until 2006 when I saw the movie The Secret that I learned about manifesting and the Law of Attraction. I realized I’d been manifesting for many years—I just didn’t realize I was doing it!
In simple terms, whatever you think about manifests into your life. Now armed with the knowledge, I apply manifesting into my daily life. We all have the power to manifest anything we desire: wealth, optimum health, love, houses, cars, peace of mind. It’s wild and it’s true.
When you manifest something, you bring it forth into your physical life experience through your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions. Manifesting is the process of vibrating at a high frequency so that you become a vibrational match with the universe. When this happens, you can co-create your world.
You’ve probably noticed that you’re constantly thinking about something. If you’re thinking about getting sick, losing your job, or something else that causes you sadness or stress, you are vibrating at a low frequency. You’re living in fear, shame, and guilt on the emotional scale, and you’ll attract that into your life.
But if you’re thinking of good health, a fulfilling job, and living well, your vibration is high. A high vibration lives in peace, love, and joy on the emotional scale. Remember—What you put out into the world comes back to you. Everything happening in your life is a reflection of what is happening inside of you. Whatever you’re focusing on will take shape and manifest into your daily life; that’s why it’s so important to know exactly how to use your manifesting power.
To start manifesting, be clear about your goal or desire. Check in with your heart. You are the only one who dreams your dreams, so whether it’s a better job, a healthy relationship, know it and own it. Get clear about what you want. Then, you need to ask the universe for what you want. There are many ways to do this. You can create a vision board, write a letter to the universe, or speak your intentions out loud.
One important part of manifesting is letting go, and trusting that the universe has a plan better than yours. Ask – Believe – Receive. Sometimes we have difficulty believing and find ourselves in a state of resistance. If you find yourself here, it doesn’t matter how much you think about what you want; resistance can be a very effective block when it comes to manifesting what you want. As you eliminate resistance, your desires will manifest faster and easier.
The next step is start working toward your goal. While knowing what you want is half the battle, you will not see any results without action. Action gives you momentum and moves you forward. As you move forward, be mindful of—and thankful for—what you receive. While you may not get everything you envision in the order and timeframe you want, you should receive and acknowledge what you do get. Being flexible is key.
The steps you take do not matter as much as your belief, so trust your actions, visions, and clarity as well as the “powers that be.” Faith is a powerful motivator and guiding force.
So, what are you thinking about manifesting? What is your heart telling you? Grab some paper and a pen and start writing your desires down. Have fun with it. Manifesting is a creative process of aligning with the energy of the universe. The more you let go, the more you become a match for what you desire. Dream big and take action.
